Dejero Develops Cloud-Managed IP Connectivity and Workflow Interoperability Tools For Video Journalists

ImageDejero, a provider of cloud-managed solutions for the transport of live video across challenging IP networks, has developed a full portfolio IP connectivity solutions for electronic newsgathering (ENG) and independent video journalism.

Dejero's LIVE+ platform simplifies the adoption of IP and cloud technology for video transport between remote or mobile locations. The unique Dejero approach bonds all available networks, including 3G/4G/LTE cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or BGAN or Ka-band satellite, to deliver high-quality, low-latency video.

To simplify all types of end-to-end news workflows, Dejero and a company called Grass Valley are collaborating to incorporate functionality of Dejero's LIVE+ Control into Grass Valley's GV STRATUS platform, giving operators the ability to access, manage, and assign content from Dejero transmitters within a single window. This interoperability improves efficiency and saves time in the highly competitive news environment.

Another popular product is Dejero's LIVE+ Multipoint solution for cloud-based sharing and exchange of live content. Through a single highly scalable and flexible system, content from virtually anywhere is simultaneously delivered to multiple stations over standard IP networks, retaining HD quality with low latency. A simple yet powerful user interface allows an operator to filter, monitor, and route the content from a single source to many destinations around the globe.

Dejero also offers its LIVE+ Core Software, which powers its transmitters, servers, and industry-leading smartphone and notebook apps that provide video journalists with more options for sourcing content. Mobile and rack-mounted transmitters will also be showcased, including LIVE+ EnGo, its compact camera-mounted or wearable transmitter that delivers exceptional picture quality with low latency, even in the most challenging network conditions.
